RNLI Calshot Lifeboat Station Open Day

Come and see our lifesaving boats and equipment up close at our family-friendly summer open day on Saturday 26th July!
🛟 You’ll get a chance to explore our Atlantic 85 where you can sit in the helms seat to see what it might look like from the position of driving the boat, or hop onto seat 2 where you can play the role of Navigator.
🛟 You can also climb aboard the D class and learn about the differences between our 2 boats and why and how our ops team choose a particular boat for taskings.
🛟 Our mighty blue launch tractors will also be on display, with a chance to watch them in action launching the lifeboats as our crew put on a rescue demonstration off Calshot.
All this kit and equipment will be on display alongside the amazing volunteer crew who operate it, on hand to answer any questions you have about what it takes to help save lives at sea.
