Transforming Fawley for future growth

Fawley Waterside Limited is bringing forward proposals for the redevelopment of the former Fawley Power Station site in the south-eastern corner of the New Forest.

The emerging new vision for the site is for a commercial, employment-led development that maximises its strategic location on the Solent and follows on from the historic energy use. 

The proposals would repurpose the site into a modern centre of enterprise, innovation, and clean energy, delivering high-quality local jobs across the energy, maritime and digital sectors, while supporting the region’s growth.

Members of the project team will be on hand to answer any questions and provide further details on the proposals.

There are two public events - 

Tuesday 30 June 2026 3pm-7pm Jubilee Hall, Fawley and Wednesday 1 July 2026 3pm - 7pm St George's Hall, Calshot.

The full public consultation Summer 2026 period runs from Tuesday 30 June to Tuesday 21 July 2026.
